RtStRts
Rt is the "mother" of all computer programs offered here at InRisk. It was developed by Mojtaba Mahsuli and Terje Haukaas during Mojtaba's PhD studies at UBC. Citation: Mahsuli, M., and Haukaas, T. (2013). “Computer program for multimodel reliability and optimization analysis.” Journal of Computing in Civil Engineering, 27(1), 87–98 (DOI)St is a basic 3D structural analysis program for linear static analysis with frame elements featuring Saint Venant torsion, warping torsion, geometric stiffness, and shear deformation. Rts is an extension of Rt with finite element and network analysis capabilities. This is the program we are working on in Vancouver these days.
Freely available for OS X, Windows, and Linux. Rt has been subject to extensive debugging and is a stable release. Freely available for OS X and Windows. St is being discontinued because it is now part of Rts.Freely available for OS X and Windows. Rts is subject to ongoing research and several features are currently being tested.
Fully parameterized, object-oriented and created in C++, with individual objects for random variables and design variables. The model library includes hazards, structures, and costs. A rudimentary model manual is available. Fully parameterized, object-oriented and created in C++, with a limited set of options for drawing section force diagrams. Similar to Rt but featuring additional models for structural components and network components, as well as right-clicks to run models and no long use of the "function" concept.
